Rivers State Police Coomand has arrested a 28-year old man identified as Ahamehule Chukwu for killing his 22-year old girlfriend identified as Ifeayinwa Ani.
The deceased Ifeayinwa Ani was discovered in front of Eliozu Health Centre in Rivers State and was reported to Okporo Divisional Police Station by the Chief Medical Officer of the health centre after one Dr. Ama Flag-Amachree revealed discovered three incisions possibly made by injection syringes on her buttocks.
The Chief Medical Officer also reported that Ifeayinwa's corpse was dumped in front of the health centre by unidentified persons.
The deceased before her death was said to have loved her boyfriend, who is also believed to have murdered her, so much that she moved into his apartment and started living with him even though they were not married.
Investigations carried out by the police revealed Ifeayinwa loved her boyfriend so much and was cohabiting with him. Her boyfriend Ahamehule who attended Government Technical College, Port Harcourt and deceased Ifeayinwa were supposedly in a very happy relationship until he started noticing that some men were sending Ifeayinwa text messages.
Ahamehule in tears policemen during interrogation that he got so mad at Ifeayinwa by the frequent calls from unknown men, that in anger, he sent Ifeayinwa packing from his family house where she had been living with him since 2012.
Ifeayinwa's father, Godwin Ani, also confirmed to the police that his daughter and her boyfriend Ahamehule were both living together before her shocking demise despite the fact that he didn't approved it, his pleas for her to return home was disregarded. His daughter Ifeayinwa had told him that Ahamehule owed her the sum of N51,000, and vowed not to return to her father's house until Ahamehule pay back her money in full.
